Happy Birthday to us! On this day, one year ago, Coffee House Talks came into existence. It's been an interesting year. A lot has happened in the world, from
Middle East uprisings to the most naked
racism in the United States in ages; from a
horrifying election cycle, to a slightly more horrifying
oil spill, and we've had a chance to talk about it all. We have a
facebook page, we have a twitter account (
@CoffeeHouseTalk, plus our two authors -
@aselbst and
@jacobfaber) where we've live tweeted a few events, and we've tried to get into as many arguments on reddit as possible. We've had a few
guest bloggers, and hope to get a few more people's views on here. We've had over 30,000 different site visits, with a monthly high of of almost 9,000, and without our readers, what really would be the point? In the future, we'd like the chance to interact with you all even more, so we also encourage you to comment on anything you find interesting.
Mostly, though, we wanted to say, thanks to all our readers for taking this ride with us and making it a great year. Hopefully there will many more great years to come.
